Description:
Good looking 4-8-2 Mountain type locomtoive built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in June of 1930 for the Canadain National is pulling an 9 car string of varnish on this day. This loco was a U-1-e class with a boiler number of 68344. It lasted longer than most 4-8-2 - scrapped August, 1961. The date for this photo was listed as circa 1934. R.A. Paterson photo
