Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4400, an E-44 (C-C) electric built by General Electric in October of 1960, rated at 4,400 horsepower, and retired in February of 1984. Note the build-up of ice from the frozen Susquehanna River, not pictured at the right. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #2 of 10) |
