Description:
Good looking later 2-8-0 Consolidation model built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in July of 1913 as CP #3942. In July of 1928, it was rebuilt to 3742 as shown. Specs - serial #52688, class N2C, 63" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x32" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,395 lb, retired in October of 1958. It was listed as an oil burner between 1952 and 1956. Unfortunately. no date or location was given for the photo. J.R. Quinn photo
