Description:  The rear unit for Norfolk Southern local P86 (Spartanburg to Union, SC) passes the Croft Baptist Church sign as it runs parallel to Southport Road at Camp Croft, SC. The P86 local often runs with a locomotive at both the head end and rear of the train as there aren’t many places for the power to run around its train on this portion of the line. This track is part of the historic “W” Line (Spartanburg to Charleston, SC), the oldest continuously operating railroad mainline in North America.
